Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Central America Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, several carpooling and ridesharing apps demonstrated notable performance trends on the iOS platform in Central America. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here is an overview of the top five apps in this category.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 51.7K in early July and peaking at around 71.7K by the beginning of September. This upward trend was mirrored in its weekly active users, which increased from roughly 3.9M to over 4.3M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download rate, oscillating between 42.9K and 54.5K. The app's active user base fluctuated slightly, starting at about 1.9M and peaking at over 2M towards the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of 34.8K in late August. Active users showed a rise from approximately 707K to over 715K by the quarter's end.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a consistent download rate, with figures ranging from 8.4K to 9.6K. Active users remained stable, fluctuating around the 200K mark throughout the quarter.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 9.2K in early September. Active user numbers initially climbed to 140K but ended the quarter with a slight decline.
